FAQ
-
What exactly is divorce coaching?
Divorce coaching is emotional, strategic, and practical support during and after divorce. Unlike therapy, which explores your past, or a lawyer, who focuses on legal outcomes, a divorce coach helps you:
Navigate high-conflict co-parenting
Prepare for court, mediation, and custody hearings
Set boundaries with a difficult or narcissistic ex
Advocate for your child, especially if they have special needs
Rebuild your confidence and sense of direction
-
How is this different from therapy?
Therapy is often past-focused and diagnoses mental health conditions. Divorce coaching is future-focused, action-oriented, and rooted in helping you problem-solve, regulate emotions, and prepare for what’s next.
If you’re working with a therapist — wonderful! Coaching can complement that beautifully.
-
Do you offer legal advice?
No. I am not an attorney and do not give legal advice. I help you prepare emotionally, mentally, and practically for your legal journey, but I always recommend working with a qualified family law attorney when making legal decisions.
-
What kinds of women do you work with?
I work with women navigating:
High-conflict divorce or separation
Custody disputes, especially involving a narcissistic or abusive co-parent
Special needs parenting during and after divorce
Emotional fallout from coercive control, manipulation, and gaslighting
Strategic court and mediation preparation
post-divorce healing
If you feel overwhelmed, unseen, or unsure of your next step — you’re in the right place.

If you live outside of Riverside County, I also offer virtual court prep sessions to help you feel steady and prepared before your day in court.
